Brivant will be launching their new Twister core wire technology at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2008 Convention at the Washington Convention Centre in Washington DC on 12-17 October 2008.
The Twister core wire technology has been developed in house by Brivant following many years of research and expertise harnessed during the manufacture of guidewires.
Twister core wire technology is in fact a stainless steel core wire, therefore commanding the low price of stainless steel compared to nitinol. It is superior to any guidewire core wire technology on the market, offering the springiness of a nitinol with the stiffness of stainless steel.
Brivant engineers have extensively tested the Twister material versus competitor wires in extremely tortuous anatomies. Twister core wire technology has superior 1:1 torqueability, pushability and kink resistance.
Visit Brivant at stand 1370 at TCT 2008 and take the Twister Torque Test to see for yourself.
